Respect Life

As a gift from God, every human life is sacred from conception to natural death and must be respected and protected at every stage and in every condition. The fundamental right to life leads Catholics to actively work for a world of greater respect for human life and greater commitment to justice and peace.

To achieve this goal, the Respect Life Committee of Our Lady of Good Counsel parish employs ongoing education, prayer, policy, and advocacy efforts to mobilize the Catholic community on issues of life, justice, and peace. BURLINGTON COUNTY DIOCESAN RESPECT LIFE

The NJ Assembly is scheduled to vote on bill A1504 which would legalize

Doctor Assisted Suicide.  Suicide is against both the natural law and the

commandments of God. You can learn about this proposal and it’s many

serious unintended consequences by visiting the NJCatholic website.

You can easily contact your legislators online to voice your opinion.

“Take Action Now.”   Click “Contact Your Legislators to Oppose Assisted

Suicide.”  Fill out your contact information and click “Send Message.”
