Youth Music Ministry

 Join the youth music ministry!

The Youth Music Ministry is available to youth in 3rd through 12th grades. Music is the tool by which the children and teens of our parish are able to serve the church and glorify God with their gifts and talents. The following ensembles will begin rehearsing the week of Sept. 18. For more information, please contact the Music Ministry office 856-235-5395.

Junior Choir (Grades 3-5): The choir rehearses hymns and anthems to lead worship in church once a month and also sings at special events. Vocal technique and musicianship are incorporated into the weekly rehearsal. Second graders interested in singing with the Junior Choir are invited to join for a 5 week rehearsal session and performance in February/March.  

Youth Choir (Grades 5-8):  The Youth Choir leads worship at Mass once a month and sings at special events.  Vocal technique and musicianship is incorporated into the weekly rehearsal.

Praise Band (Grades 9-12): The Praise Band leads worship at the 10:30 Mass in the chapel every Sunday and, once a month, at the 5 pm Saturday Mass.  Instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome.

String Ensemble (Grades 7-12):  The String ensemble members must perform at an intermediate to advanced level.  Instruments include violins, violas, cellos and basses.  This ensemble leads worship about once a month and performs at special events throughout the year. Audition required.
